About us
Viking Insurance Services are an Independent Insurance Broker authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. (FSA registration number 306818)
Viking Insurance Services was established in 1973 by John Adams who had previously worked for over 20 years for Royal Insurance.
The firm is and always has been a family run business with John's wife Patricia being involved from the outset. The business was originally started in Hertfordshire but was relocated to our Havelock Road office in 1977.
We have remained a family business throughout and John was joined by Stuart in 1984 after he spent 2 years with Legal & General. John and Stuart ran the business together and were joined by Stuart’s wife Alison after Patricia retired in 1998.
John and Stuart continued to run the business until 2002 when John passed away.
Since 2002 Stuart has continued at the helm with Alison's assistance and continuing the family tradition Stuart's daughter has recently joined us on a part time basis.
Agencies
We have over 55 agencies and deal with both the Lloyd's market and the traditional markets. This allows us to maintain our ability to offer competitive and complete cover that is the most suitable for the customers Demands & Needs.
Nearly 40 years of business has been based on the belief that the customers needs must always be a priority and no matter how big or small the requirement may be we pride ourselves on servicing the customers needs and always strive to give the best advice.
